He also undertakes assignments to negotiate with Chinese counterparties on behalf of foreign clients, particularly for the resolution of intractable problems in sino-foreign businesses.

Tim coaches management teams by drawing on his personal experience over the past decades of negotiating more than a hundred transactions with Chinese counterparties in every part of China and for a cumulative value of more than $1 billion.


Dispute Resolution

Litigation rarely provides optimal solutions in China due to difficulties in enforcement. Tim has undertaken many assignments on behalf of foreign investors in order to reach negotiated settlements where problems had arisen in the relationship between the Chinese and foreign parties.
